Restaurant info, hours, prices, ratings, and event details come from third parties including Foursquare, Google Places, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, and the City of Nashville Open Data Portal. Information may be inaccurate or outdated. Verify with the venue before going.
The Howdy Nash chatbot uses AI to answer questions. AI responses can be wrong, outdated, or made up. Before traveling to any spot the chatbot recommends, confirm the address, hours, prices, and reservation details directly with the venue. Howdy Nash is not responsible for closed restaurants, sold-out events, or anything else the AI gets wrong.
If you share your location for nearby search, we use it only to find restaurants, events, and stores around you. We do not store this location on our servers, sell it, or share it beyond the API providers needed to fulfill your request.
When you start or join a group via the Find My Group feature, your location updates are stored temporarily on our backend (Upstash Redis) so other members of the same group code can see your pin on a live map. Group sessions auto-expire after the duration you pick (8, 12, or 24 hours), at which point all location data is permanently deleted. You can leave a group at any time, which removes your pin immediately. Group leaders can end the session for everyone. We never share group location data with third parties or use it for marketing.
Group sharing is opt-in only. You and every group member must tap "Share location" to appear on the map. We do not track members who haven't actively joined the session.
You are responsible for who you share your group code with. Anyone with the code can see member locations during the session. Treat it like a temporary password and only share it with people you trust.
We do not process reservations, payments, or rides. All bookings happen on third-party platforms (OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Yelp, Uber, Lyft, Waymo, DoorDash, Uber Eats). Howdy Nash is not responsible for service quality, cancellations, refunds, or disputes with these providers.
