The local's guide to WeHo, Nashville's arts-and-industrial district. What to do, where to eat and drink, and where to stay.
Wedgewood-Houston, known to locals as WeHo, is a former industrial pocket just south of downtown that has turned into one of Nashville's most creative neighborhoods. Old warehouses now hold art galleries, breweries, and studios, alongside a wave of new restaurants and development.
This guide covers what WeHo is, what to do there, where to eat and drink, and where to stay. It is the pick for art, craft beer, and a side of Nashville that has nothing to do with Broadway.
WeHo is industrial-turned-creative. Brick warehouses, murals, galleries, and breweries sit next to new mixed-use buildings going up year by year. It draws artists, makers, and a young crowd, and it feels like a neighborhood in the middle of becoming something. It is the opposite of polished downtown: rougher edges, more interesting for it.
WeHo is Nashville's gallery district. Art spaces fill the old industrial buildings, and the neighborhood art crawl opens them up on a regular schedule, letting you wander the scene and meet local artists. It is the best reason to come.
Geodis Park, the home of Nashville SC in Major League Soccer, anchors the neighborhood. A match is one of the loudest, most fun live-sports tickets in the city.
The Lane Motor Museum holds a quirky collection of rare and unusual vehicles from around the world. Nearby, Fort Negley preserves a Civil War-era fort with walking paths and a view, a quieter, historical stop.
WeHo is a craft-beer cluster, with several of Nashville's well-known breweries within a short distance of each other, which makes it easy to pair two taprooms. See the Nashville breweries guide for the full lineup.
WeHo's dining has grown fast, from acclaimed chef-driven restaurants to new arrivals landing each year. The mix runs casual to ambitious. Because the scene turns over quickly, check current spots before you go.
WeHo has limited lodging, though that is changing with new development. Most visitors stay downtown, in the Gulch, or in another central neighborhood and come to WeHo for the day or evening. It is a short ride from all of them. See the where to stay guide.

WeHo is known as Nashville's arts-and-industrial district: galleries, breweries, studios, and a fast-changing dining scene in converted warehouses south of downtown. Geodis Park, the MLS soccer stadium, is also here.
WeHo is the local shorthand for Wedgewood-Houston, named for the two streets that frame the neighborhood. Locals rarely say the full name.
Only in parts. WeHo is still spread out and partly industrial, so you will drive or rideshare between stops more than in the Gulch or 12 South.
Gallery-hop and catch the art crawl, tour the breweries, see a Nashville SC match at Geodis Park, visit the Lane Motor Museum, or walk the Civil War history at Fort Negley.
